Organic Housing

Můj Dům (My House) magazine, July 2016. A text about the building designed by acad. arch. Oldřich Hozman, written by Vlastimil Růžička. Stylistic elements include in particular rounded corners – not only the outer corners of the house, but the corners of plaster in the interior, between the wall and ceiling. The corners of the top architraves around the windows, inner lining of the windows or top corners of the door panelling in the interior are also rounded. These recurring forms unify the style in which people feel good. The architecture level of the house is increased by well-processed, high quality artistic details. E.g. sheet metal covering of roof edges or retaining wall is made very carefully. It has a fine profiling. Also the endings of the beam gridirons are finished in full detail.

By designing interiors, we can assist in their formation. Character of the shapes of classrooms and their detailed design affect the mental experience of a child. They influence forming of the child’s mental capacity, since they work on the moral and social level. Interaction of environment and education leads in adulthood to transformation of the mental strength from the childhood in overall development of health.
